Speaker Bio

Troy Mann is a cloud architect and functional programming enthusiast. He has used .NET since beta 0.8 with a heavy focus on ASP.NET development. He has a solid background in front end Web 2.0 technologies such as JavaScript, almost all of the mobile frameworks, and Python. Currently Troy works almost exclusively on cloud related projects involving Office 365, Azure and Amazon Web Services using cutting edge technologies such as IoT, big data, microservices and of course functional programming. Troy often assists and manages teams of developers to ensure their code will perform well in the cloud. He is extremely involved in the Dallas technical community and can be found at many meetups.
