Getting to the core of ASP.NET Core

Microsoft has created a new base library for ASP.NET which powers all of ASP.NET MVC, but sometimes it is useful to take a step back and understand just the fundamentals. So in this talk we will review creating a basic web server with just ASP.NET Core, and what extensibility points it provides. This is a deep talk, diving into the API, and not meant as a 101 overview of the topic.

Tim Rayburn is a Vice President of Consulting with Improving Enterprises, a software and project management consulting company in Dallas, TX. He is a passionate advocate of apprenticeship and mentorship in corporate environments. Since 2007 he has been awarded the Microsoft MVP in recognition of his expertise and community leadership.
